Yana's Creativity & Wellness

YANA KORETSKA
ABOUT ME
I was born on July 12, 1994, in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. My journey in the world of art started when I earned my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University in 2015. A year later, I completed another Bachelor's degree, this time in the History and Theory of Arts (external form), from the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
In 2017, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Monumental Painting from the Kyiv National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. My education gave me both practical and theoretical knowledge, which has fueled my passion for exploring the artistic heritage of different cultures.
I’ve always been fascinated by the motives behind creativity and the historical and philosophical elements that shape the world of art.
Since May 2015, I have been working as both an artist and an art teacher, sharing my passion for art with others. In 2021, I had the privilege of curating the exhibition "Moments of Inspiration" at the Lesia Ukrainka Museum in Kyiv.
In March 2022, I moved to Ireland, where I continued my artistic journey by organizing charity workshops, such as "Paint for Peace" at the RHA Gallery and "MyArt Studio" in Dublin. I also had the opportunity to paint murals, including "Stand with Ukraine" at Grand Canal Street Art Alley and an educational mural for children in Portlaoise City Park.
In May 2024, I completed the Foundation, Mentored, and Resolution Drawing and Painting Modules at the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts.
In April 2024, I launched my business, "Yana's Creativity and Wellness," where I offer art and wellness workshops at the Dublin Drawing School and MyArt School of Dance and Art. I’m also available for private art tutorials.
My interests go beyond painting; I’m deeply passionate about meditation, yoga, dance, and drama. I believe in the strong connection between the physical and mental aspects of life, and I see these practices as tools for achieving inner harmony, inspiration, and wellness.
